This    course    provides    the    trainee    with    knowledge    on    the    different    aspects    of    disease    states.    
It imparts the knowledge, skills and attitudes essential for selection and optimizing drug 
therapy.    The    trainee    will    be    able    to    relate    and    recommend    drugs    for    different    diseases    and    
provide essential information to patients.

By the end of the course, the trainee should be able to:
1. Describe    the    manifestations    of    disease    states.
2. Interpret basic laboratory tests in the diagnosis of diseases.
3. Relate the use of drugs to disease states.

 Physiology 

Physiology introduces trainees to the normal functioning of the human body, focusing on the mechanisms that support life and maintain internal balance. The course provides foundational knowledge for understanding drug action, disease processes, and therapeutic interventions. Trainees gain competency in explaining how organs, tissues, and cells work together to sustain health—an essential basis for safe pharmaceutical practice.
